Creator Terms

These Creator Terms are an overlay on the Terms of Service that applies when your Account is in the Creator role. They add to, and do not replace, the Terms, Community Guidelines, Brand Collaboration Terms, and Sponsored Content Policy.

1. Becoming a Creator

You switch to the Creator role in settings (request_account_type_change). This is a role overlay on your single identity, not a separate account. You can switch back, subject to how retained records (e.g. deals, collaboration history) are handled under the Retention Policy.

2. Creator profile and public sections

The Creator role unlocks public profile sections: external links, brand-partnership links, categories/region, an "open to collaborate" flag, and a collaboration history section. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of everything you display, including links.

3. Collaboration history must be truthful

Your public collaboration history must be backed by an actual platform record (a completed Deal) or verified mutual confirmation — you must not invent, exaggerate, or misattribute partnerships. Fabricated collaboration history is a serious violation and may lead to removal of the claim, loss of Creator features, and enforcement action.

4. Disclosure of commercial content

If Content is sponsored, paid, gifted, affiliate, or otherwise commercial, you must disclose it clearly and comply with applicable advertising/endorsement rules (India ASCI and consumer law; US FTC endorsement guides; EU UCPD and national influencer rules; and local equivalents in other markets). Platform-level disclosure requirements are in the Sponsored Content Policy. You remain responsible for the truthfulness of your endorsements and claims.

5. Deals, inbox, proposals, deliverables, proofs

As a Creator you can receive and negotiate Deals from Businesses via the deal inbox, agree terms, deliver, and submit proofs/deliverables. The full workflow, record retention, and dispute handling are in the Brand Collaboration Terms. You must deliver what you agree, honestly represent your work, and not submit false proofs.

6. Dashboards and analytics

You may see aggregate performance metrics about your Content and collaborations. These are provided "as is" for your information and may be estimated. You must not use another user's data revealed through collaboration for any purpose beyond that collaboration.

7. Verification

Creator verification (where offered) reflects our review of records, not a guarantee; see the Verification Policy. Do not claim or imply a verification status you do not hold.

8. Planned: Creator monetization

Paid subscriptions, tips, paid promotion, and marketplace features are not live. If introduced, they will be governed by additional creator-monetization and payout terms (including tax, KYC, and payout-provider rules) presented before you use them.
