Notice-and-Action, Reporting & Takedown Policy

Effective Date: 3 July 2026

This policy explains how anyone can report content or conduct on RÆDIUS, what we do with a report, how fast, and how decisions can be challenged. It reflects RÆDIUS's actual moderation architecture (pre-publication automated screening + server-side moderation + human review + in-app reporting + admin review with audit logging). It works with the Community Guidelines, IP & Copyright Policy, and Grievance Redressal Policy.

1. How to report

  • In-app (fastest): the ••• menu on a post/profile, or long-press a message → Report → choose a category. Deals and ads are reportable through the same mechanism.
  • By email for legal/formal notices: grievances fuy.aphelion@gmail.com; copyright/IP fuy.aphelion@gmail.com; child-safety fuy.aphelion@gmail.com (subject "Child Safety Report").

Reports are confidential; the reported user is not told who reported them.

2. What happens after a report

  1. The report enters the moderation queue and is triaged by severity.
  2. Content is assessed against the Guidelines and applicable law by automated tooling and, where needed, human reviewers; sensitive evidence (e.g. verification/deal proofs) is only viewed by authorised admins and every view is logged.
  3. We take proportionate action: no action, label/age-gate, remove, restrict features, strike, suspend, or ban; and, for the gravest categories, preserve evidence and report to authorities.
  4. We notify the reporter and the affected user of the outcome and reasons, subject to legal limits, and offer an appeal (see §5).

3. Priority levels and target timelines

PriorityExamplesTarget action time
CriticalCSAM/child endangerment; imminent self-harm; terrorist/violent-extremist content; credible mass-violence threatWithin 24 hours; immediate removal + evidence hold + reporting
HighNCII/sexual deepfakes; doxxing; active targeted harassmentWithin 24–48 hours (NCII/nudity of a person: within 24 hours per India IT Rules 2021 Rule 3(2)(b))
StandardSpam, manipulation, impersonation, IP/copyright, unlabeled AI, deceptive commercial conduct48 hours to 7 business days

Statutory timelines override these targets where stricter (see Addenda).

4. Child-safety and crisis handling

  • CSAM/child exploitation: immediate removal on confirmation, permanent ban, evidence preserved under legal hold, and reporting to the appropriate authority per market (India: Cyber Crime Cell / cybercrime.gov.in / 1930; US: NCMEC CyberTipline reporting is legally required for US-facing service — register and wire this up before US launch; EU/UK/JP: local hotlines/authorities).
  • Self-harm/crisis: we remove promotional/instructional self-harm content and surface helplines. India: iCall 9152987821; Vandrevala 1860-2662-345 (24/7); NIMHANS 080-46110007; emergency 112. Per-market crisis resources are listed in the Addenda. We plan to add proactive in-app helpline display when users search for crisis-related keywords.

5. Appeals

If your Content was removed or your account restricted, you may appeal via the in-app route where offered or by email to fuy.aphelion@gmail.com within 30 days, giving your username and context. Appeals are reviewed by someone other than the original decision-maker where feasible. Certain external dispute-resolution options may apply in some markets (e.g. EU out-of-court dispute settlement under the DSA).

6. Government and law-enforcement requests

We disclose user data to authorities only on a valid legal basis (e.g. court order, warrant, or lawful preservation request), record such requests, and — where lawful and appropriate — notify the affected user.
